Administrators

The Administrators page lets you grant other people access to the Tenant Admin portal. Only existing administrators can invite new ones.

Roles

Role What they can do
Owner Full access to all settings, including inviting and removing other administrators. There is always at least one Owner.
Member Full access to all settings. Cannot promote or remove other Owners.

An Owner can be demoted to Member (and vice versa) at any time using the Make Member / Make Owner button, as long as at least one Owner remains.

Inviting an Administrator

  1. Go to Administrators in the left sidebar.
  2. In the Invite administrator form, enter the person's email address and optionally their display name.
  3. Click Send Invite.

The invitee receives an email with a link to accept the invitation and set up their access. The table will show their status as Invite pending until they accept.

If they haven't received the email, click Resend Invite to send it again.

Note

Administrator accounts are separate from mailboxes. An administrator does not need a Vantage mailbox to access the portal. Administrators sign in with their email address and a one-time code (or TOTP if they've configured it in the Security page).

Managing Existing Administrators

Each row in the Tenant Administrators table has the following actions:

Action What it does
Resend Invite Sends the invitation email again (only shown for pending invites).
Make Owner / Make Member Toggles the role between Owner and Member.
Deactivate Blocks the administrator from signing in without removing their record.
Remove Removes admin access entirely. The person can be re-invited later.

Zylatech Staff

If a Zylatech support engineer has access to your account, they appear in a separate Global Administrators section at the bottom of the page. This list is read-only — global admin access is managed by Zylatech and is used only for support purposes.
